What is Subcutaneous Fat?

WHAT IS SUBCUTANEOUS FAT?

 
ALL of us have two kinds of fat visceral fat and subcutaneous fat. Visceral fat is the fat that surrounds the important organs of your body like the heart liver kidney and pancreas. This fat is dangerous & when you reduce this fat your health improves.



Subcutaneous fat, on the other hand, is the fact underneath your skin. This is the fat that gives you the shape. This is the fat that actually Jiggles. This is the fat that you can hold. This is the fat that gives you dimpled skin. This fat you will find on your arms on your thighs and your buttocks. This fat is not at all dangerous. But if you’re someone that you want to fit in a particular size or have clothes that you’re not fitting into then you have to reduce your subcutaneous fat. Before we talk about why you need subcutaneous fat so let’s talk about why do we store fat?

So in our prehistoric times our ancestors never used to get ready-made food they actually used to hunt or gather for food there were days that they did not get food at all. And that is the time or body developed a mechanism where it started storing fat so that it can use it as a resource whenever we do not get food later on.

When we started developing our kingdoms and started going on Wars. Now, remember one thing when they were in wars there was no lunch break. So again, they used to go on a war for days together and did not eat again. At that time our body developed a mechanism where it started storing fat so that they can use it during the war.
Then again, you know we started farming now because of farming we started getting food but people had to earn their food. So they use to have a plate full of breakfast and then used to work on the fields for the next four hours before they get their next plate full of meals. So all these guys were actually earning their food.

Overweight and obesity problems started after we started our desk jobs. So this is the time that you know, we started eating food without earning it or without doing any physical activity. So if you want to reduce subcutaneous fat or for that matter visceral fat, the first thing that you need to do is like there are three tips that I’ll give you.

1. Start having portion control meals.
2. Do not give a lot of gaps between your meals otherwise your body will start thinking that you are on war or you’re not getting food and that’s how it starts storing a lot of fat.

One of the reasons that you might have noticed that many people do not store fat is that they consistently have small meals in a gap of three hours. And because their body knows that they are going to give me food every three hours. It does not store fat. So it is very important that you have your meals on time.

And the third thing is to be active. I know a lot of people who exercise every single day, but after they finish their work out, they are not active at all. They’re sitting in one place. So yes of You need to exercise at least 30 minutes a day. But other than that you need to be active throughout the day. So start doing these three things that are half portion control meals do not give a lot of gaps between your meals be active start doing this.
