What is Visceral Fat? & How to Reduce It?
Visceral fat is a fat that surrounds your vital organs, like heart, Kidney, liver, pancreas, etc. All the important organs are surrounded by this fat. This fat is actually for protection so that if you fall down or if there is any injury this fat will protect it. However if this fat increases to a very high level then it stops that organ from working properly. For example, if there are 1 or 2 kgs of fat around your heart so how will the heart pump or function efficiently? Hence it is very important to maintain visceral fat between 2 to 4% of your total body weight & not beyond that
Exercising for about 45 minutes to one hour daily and then inactive for the whole day also leads to the increased levels of visceral Fat. So it is important that not only during exercise but to be active throughout the day.
The second thing is dinner before Sunset, and this also plays a major role to reduce Visceral fat…
The next thing is your stress levels, if your stress levels are high your body cortisol levels increase & attracts a lot of fat.
